Musa genomics workshop at PAG XVIII

A Musa genomics workshop will take place on Tuesday, 12 January 2010, during the PAG XVIII international conference, San Diego, USA, January 9-13, 2010. The Musa genomics workshop is scheduled from 10:20 am to 12:30 pm (see announcement below).

If you wish to submit an abstract for an oral presentation or poster, please follow the instructions given in the following link:http://www.intl-pag.org/18/18-abstracts.html Although the number of speakers limited to 6, number of posters is unlimited. Please note that each participant will have to cover his/her own expenses. However, the selected oral presenters will have a 100 US$ discount for registration fees. Since the program of oral presentations has to be finalized by November 2, 2009. it is strongly recommend that you submit your abstract at least one week before that date, i.e. October 26, 2009.

As each year, we will also organize our informal GMGC meeting to touch base on all Musa genomics activities in 2009 and discuss future activities.This meeting is scheduled on Tuesday, 12 January, from 8h00pm to 10h00 pm. Even if you are not presenting an oral presentation at the Musa genomics Workshop, please confirm your participation so that we can organize the appropriate logistics for the evening meeting.
