Genetic Markers

TropGENE is a database that manages genetic and genomic information about tropical crops among which is musa. This section comprises RFLP, AFLP, RAPD, DArT and SSR markers related to several hundreds of accessions. TropGENE is part of the SouthGreen Bioinformatics platform and can be directly accessed using this link (http://tropgenedb.cirad.fr)

N.B. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Bioversity and the CIRAD to make sure that any GMGC member willing to provide data can take advantage of the TropGENE database.
