BAC sequences
GNPAnnot
Description
GNPAnnot is a project on green genomics which intends to develop a community system of structural and functional annotation supported by comparative genomics and dedicated to plant, insect and fungus genomes allowing both automatic predictions and manual curations of genomic objects.
51 BACs were sequenced and annotated for genes and transposable elements. these data are accessible through the GNPAnnot portal. In addition of the genes and TE predictions, information related to ESTs match, similarity with orther protein sequences (e.g. UniProt) and synteny with Rice chromosomes can be browsed.
GNPAnnot is part of the SouthGreen Bioinformatics platform and can be directly accessed using this link (http://www.gnpannot.org/).
This work was supported by the French National Research Agency (ANR Genoplante) [grant ANR-07-GPLA-004]
