Mailing list

The GMGC has set up a listserver mailing list to circulate messages and announcements to its members, and facilitate communication between the members. Only members can use the mailing lists.

GMGC mailing list address: musagenomics@lists.cgiar.org

The list can be used:

  • to announce meetings, seminars and conferences that may be of interest to other members
  • to inform members of new publications and policies
  • to inform members of ongoing research, achievements and results
  • to function as a forum for the exchange of questions and answers, discussions and brainstorming regarding issues related to GMGC
  • to request assistance in locating additional relevant information
  • to share information about new funding opportunities, calls for proposals etc.


PLEASE NOTE: You cannot use the "reply-to" function to reply to a message sent via the mailing list. The return path routes messages to the postmaster, not to the list of persons. To send a message to the list, you will need to manually enter the e-mail address musagenomics@lists.cgiar.org

In addition, when sending a message to the list, please do not use the “cc” or the “bcc” fields. If you need to send the message to people outside of the GMGC mailing list, please do it in a separate message. Inversely, please do not put the listserver address into the “cc” or “bcc” fields.

To avoid email overload for everyone, please do not use the lists for messages addressed to only one or a few members (e.g. congratulations, thank you messages, etc.).
